These guys are the real deal. They are professional, clean, timely, and friendly. They scheduled us right in for an estimate and then came out and explained everything in detail. Kuhlman was the 4th electrician I reached out to, and the first to get in touch/back in touch with me. I had a small job and was told they would be in touch when they finished a larger job early. They appeared in less than a week! Because I hadn’t expected them I hadn’t purchased the smoke/CO detectors I wanted installed, so Roy went and bought them for me. They replaced a ceiling lamp and a non-working outlet. They were quick, pleasant, and thorough. I will definitely use KES the next time I have an electrical need!

In our two-family home we needed to update the two units' panels, meters, the whole works. It's not like we were dying to spend several thousand on a new system, since the old one (1970's?) was still working fine. But we were advised of safety issues and home resale problems.
David showed up for an estimate at the appointed time and was very informative. We received an estimate from Kuhlman 20% lower than the others we had. On the appointed day, they showed up promptly at 7:30 in the morning and started right in. Ervis and Cody worked straight through the day in 95 degree heat! We had power back on for dinnertime.
The quality of the work is excellent and they did it right on schedule - with no surprises. There's not much else you could ask for when it comes to hiring a contractor!

We had KES come in to do a substantial rewiring job and also to modify some work done by a previous electrician. They have been fantastic. Totally professional, friendly and communicative, they itemized everything and really made sure that we knew exactly what they were doing for every part of the job. We are so happy with the work and would recommend to anyone! I would add that they were really good to deal with as people and went the extra mile to minimize any mess or damage - they cleaned up every day of the job and made sure to minimize the impact of having workers in the house.

Both Jesse and Gary were amazing professionals and so is the entire team at KES from scheduling to billing. Jesse came over for estimate and Gary did the job. They were very thorough, finished work much faster than anticipated, very competitive pricing, and did a great job to make sure that everything is functional before he left.

Chris and his team installed exterior outlets for our patio, Rewired our kitchen after we learned everything was all on one breaker, grounded wires and came out after already putting in lots of overtime last week. Their customer service is amazing and we absolutely love working with KES.

Finally, I got a call back but that wasn't even the best part!
For whatever reason electricians seem to be the hardest service to get a response. I asked multiple friends for referrals and none returned calls. I went to Yelp and for KES. They replied quickly online and provided a reasonable quote, followed by a call the next day to see if their electricians could stop by to help with a blown circuit.
The guys were on time, very professional and efficient and to top it all off the invoice was less than they quoted! Oh, and they have a slick bill pay - I got an email after the service and just clicked through to e-Bill pay with a credit card.
It was a great experience from start to finish.

The job performed at my home was the biggest project I had ever undertaken. Re wiring the entire house to remove nob and tub did not sound easy, however the crew, consisting of Ervis and Dom addressed my concerns and eliminated my fears. They did this with a professional approach not only to the job but also to me and my many questions. They calmed my fears and made me very comfortable. The job performance was superior in every way. The clean up was the best I have ever seen. I commend the hard work and dedication of these two electricians and state sincerely they are a credit to your firm. After being quoted $7200 from my GC's electrician to have my entire electrical main replaced due to water damage, I called KES for a quote and they sent Anthony to evaluate the problem. He inspected the panel and said it didn't need to be replaced, and discovered the cause of prior water leaking and sealed it up. He also fixed 2 light switches. Anthony was professional and very nice, explained everything so I could understand the issues, and described everything he'd do and the cost before he started working. The grand total was $150. So nice to find a competent electrician that charges a very fair price. I'd recommend KES based on my experience, and will call them for my future electrical needs.

If I could give Kulhman Electric more than 5 stars, I would. As first time home owners, they are the most professional contractor we've worked with.
We had recessed lighting installed throughout our townhouse - making our dark house warm and bright.

We had extensive knob & tube replacement work done as well as added upgrades like additional power outlets, recessed lights, movement of switches and lights. They dealt with our old house like the pros they are and we really enjoyed having them over. Anthony, Joe, and Alex were courteous during their time here and thoughtful when it came to any work scope changes. They made meaningful suggestions where it was needed--a great team! Our city inspector said they took their time and did a good job.
I also worked with Jesse for estimates and he was also very helpful, provided timely, detailed, and accurate estimates.
The management team was also amazing. They were very patient with me and courteous as well as communicative.

We had a Tesla wall connector, as well as another 220v 20A outlet, installed in our garage. I was extremely impressed with Kuhlman. They're communication was top notch and were very flexible when it came to scheduling appointments that fit our needs.
Jesse came to our place for a free estimate (which was awesome), and their quote was very reasonable. My unit only has 100A service, but Jesse had a great suggestion which was to install an energy management system that would allow me to install a higher, 40A circuit in my panel for the charger while still meeting code. I was very easy to tell that the team cared about their work and did an extremely professional job. I'm super happy with the setup and so glad that I can now charge my car quickly at home!
Would easily recommend Kuhlman to anyone, and in fact I'll probably have them back for more electrical work in the future!

Great experience with this team. They helped with grounding a wire in my mother-in-law's house, as well as spending hours at my house fixing miscellaneous issues and getting our shed powered again. The guys were friendly, professional, and efficient. I would absolutely hire them again.

Kuhlman was definitely a good choice. They came out and spent the time to give an accurate estimate for the work requested. They sent a fair proposal in a timely manner, to which I accepted. Then, I needed to add a service change to the order, and again, received a fair proposal. They even asked me if I wanted to move the work up a week due to a cancellation.
Mike and Roy showed up to to do the work over three days. They arrived on time or early every day. They always communicated along the way. The work was efficient, and looks really good, considering it was pouring one day, and very hot another.

I would not hesitate to use Kuhlman again!
